Help with slight damage to Convertible roof ?

Hi all.........I have a Convertible Jaguar, 7 years old. The roof is in perfect condition, apart from one small slit 20mm, between rear window and boot. Basically, where main fold starts on opening. Worried it may grow over time....Anyone got any good cosmetic solutions...to repair well ???

    Ok here is a idea! If you can get behind the well ..try a iron on patch. .....Steve
