came in contact with a cat with leukimia today?

can i pass that on to my cat?

    yes. it can also pass on to you or anyone around the cat. and its leukimia, not just cancer.

    The virus does not live outside of a wet environment. Even if the cat sneezed on you the sneeze would be dried out fast. You'll be fine, it won't transfer. The only virus that lasts a LONG time outside the body and can live in a dry environment is distemper.

    Yes, Feline Leukemia is cancer, but it's spreadable between cats via body fluids that hold the virus. Since that cat isn't in contact with your cat (just you) and it's been time between when you touched that one and when you got home, there should be no problem.

    no. cancer is not contagious. my friends cousin has leukimia and she visits her all the time. do not be scared
