What is the greatest threat to the U.S. today?

B. Hussein Obama.

There could not be an external threat to America greater than the internal one of its own people.

The greatest threat comes from our own government - overspending, national debt, bad foreign policy and foreign wars. Congress shows no indication of changing its ways.

Apathy.

Lack of initiative on the part of its citizens to educate themselves and working hard to get what you want in life.

Instant gratification has its consequences and there are several generations that are stunned when they find that out.

The enormous national debt that keeps getting bigger. Because it will eventually cause the dollar to crash which means our money will be worthless.

The number of people without health insurance was 46.6 million in 2005 & that figure grows by a million uninsured men, women & children, every year.

I think it's a threat.

Internal- our debt and corrupt leaders

People who think the US has 'threats'.

Conservatism and NAFTA.
