Why do you think there should be a rebuttal? If you think for everything Obama does, there is an automatic reaction by Republicans, you don't understand the real issues Conservatives have with Obama. You accept this contrarian view of Conservative politics to simply dismiss the issues.

  • Congratulations to the Anointed for Authorizing the mission (the go ahead OK) sought diligently by the Intelligence Bureau/Dept. Joint Special Operations Command, CIA & Pentagon who has been in case since Enduring freedom gathering intelligence abroad & from captured terrorist under Counter measures put in place After 9/11 that twuarted attacks domestically for 8 years when kept in full diligence.

Glad over Usamah's (UBL) demise, but it still will not change the State of the Union, & the policies that must be adopted in the face of terrorism or any Surprise attack (no declaration) Sanctioned by a foreign Government, thus the need for every sovereign to build a strong military, what the administration & its base isn't to keen on supporting.

The CIA, JSOC, Pentagon, Mc Crystal, & Petraeus never gave up. They got more troops for the troop surge, got more information, & got Authorization despite the Administrations attitude towards Iraq, Afghanistan & enemy combatants.

The Navy Seals just proved that the Blitzkrieg approach with an end game is the road to Victory, not a "STALE MATE" as in libya, or nation building, Political Correctness, Appeasement & troop withdrawal that was campaigned upon.

The U.S. had military personnel & ships in many foreign countries. If they were all in Afghanistan solely for the purpose of defeating them through absolute surrender with treaties or face annihilation execution, not just driving Al-Queda or Taliban out of power or out of the Country, It would have just lasted 6 months or one year, just like the fall of Saddam's Regime in IRAQI FREEDOM like real wars without Political Correctness & Nation Building that occurred After IRAQI FREEDOM. The quickest & shortest time assault in a War campaign should be the goal, & there was nothing quicker than the 6 day war.

Combatants that did not surrender away from their cause should have been dealt with the way these combatants deal with their prisoners, how many U.S. & Russian troops were taken prisoners, captured without torture, beheading, & firing squad. Khalid Sheik Muhammad & his fellow conspirators have no desire to turn from their cause & their information are not needed in a blitzkrieg. Time to execute, will they accept their fate like Saddam Hussein or will they Cower like Usamah Bin Laden (UBL).

This may be hard for you to understand but when good news is announced, when actual justice is carried out, Conservatives are pleased.

I realize this stands in stark contrast to the progressive mindset which angrily rejects anything that they perceive as contrary to their agenda. Their bitter rejection instead of relief or optimism and angry refusal to even consider the mounting evidence that the world is not doomed due to man generated global warming for instance.

Rebuttal? This is a military victory we can all celebrate. Why is the left trying to make this political? It doesn't change Obama's policies.

This may surprise many Democrats but whenever Obama or any other Democrat does the right thing, we applaud. He just hasn't done very many right things until now. Now we applaud this effort. Well done, Barrack Obama.

Now if you just agree to repeal Obamacare, not raise the dept ceiling and return to 2008 spending levels, we will give you a standing ovation.

Shouldn't be one. If anyone complains they will not be looked upon kindly, other than by crazy Muslims.

It will be difficult to rebut this victory. President Obama got him, President Bush did not. Some will find that distasteful, but, too bad, that's the fact.

As for me, "Congratulations, President Obama! Well done!"
