I suspect some are actually regretting that bin Laden was killed at this time because of the credit the Obama administration will receive. Many of them place politics above patriotism.

Has Bin Laden been killed on every other day the market has rallied? Of course not, and I doubt very seriously the market rallied because of Bin Laden at all. Just as I believe the market will tank this week based on the jobs report coming out on Friday. It will be very bad, unemployment going up. Not down. The speculators are making their money today....and they will make money the end of the week too.

Yeah, I'm really depressed that stocks went up. That's a retarded question you've got here. Why would republicans want the stock mkt to be down?

Why would they be? Republicans are pro-business, pro-growth, pro-liberty. Its the anti-liberty party of the Democrats who want to cease competition in a free and fair market by choosing the winners and losers based upon their lobbyists.
Pay attention kid.

Why would they? Aren't they the ones that own the stocks? I am awestruck that Yahoo has actually broke the 18.00 barrier. Time to short!!! This day is fleeting just like the value of the dollar.
