Star Wars Emperor Quotes

Darth Vader: "Because you are my Son!"

I guess its the lot of every young man, that given its mothers day this weekend in Aussie, that men can never live up to the high standards our Fathers set for us? How much more pure is it that like our Heavenly Fathers plan in an eternal battle between good and evil and the pursuit of excellence, a kind word from our Mothers always does vastly more than the discouragement of a Father to build upon what we achieve in our own right, all the while our Fathers hiding this from us?

The Force could be used for Good or Evil and at this moment we realise Darth Vader is a fallen angel, that somehow weakness of personality not existing in the Son becomes the Fathers end in the movie, how lucky are we to always have an Eternal Heavenly Father and for those among you with kids, I have never had any, use the worst excuse for not doing something or for that matter doing something? "Because I am your Father?" I remember in the movie his mother had always said his father was dead? Sad, we all deny true love, and yet until we've lost true love we never knew we had it? And never experience it until it is lost? Some do, stereotyping can be so passe but I love that quote best for all I said?

My favourite Star Wars quotes are:

"Luke, at that speed do you think you'll be able to pull out in time?"

"Rise, my friend."

"Size matters not. Judge me by my size, do you?"

"You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought."

Those are my favourite quotes because as you go from being a child to adult they offer multiple meanings and add something new each time you watch Star Wars.

"Apology accepted, Captain Needa." - Darth Vader.

This was a pretty humorous line given that Captain Needa was being choked to death, but it was also part of what made Empire Strikes Back one of the best movies ever. Vader was a well established villain going into the second film, but he was even more ruthless and cunning in ESB. Choking a fellow Imperial easily pushed him into a new category of evil.

In my opinion, the best quote/s from the Star Wars trilogy comes from "Return of the Jedi," when Darth Vader arrives on the second Death Star, and is welcomed with this conversation with Moff Jerjerrod...

Quote 1 -

Occasionally, I use the Darth Vader quotes mentioned above on some of the mechanics in my shop, especially when I catch them doing a sloppy job on a customer's vehicle - especially quote 3 ;D Just replace "The Emperor..." with "I honestly..." and they're dumbfounded. Naturally, they will have a rejoinder similar to Moff Jerjerrod's in quote 4, and I retort with "I hope so (insert employee's name here), for your sake. The board of directors* aren't as forgiving as I am."

*My other partners that own the shop. We all have equal stake in the company.

I can just picture the local Priest saying this during a sermon! Or,, C3PO to R2D2 ::: "Don't you get technical with me." .. That's a laugh,one android saying That to another android! OR.... C3PO "How do I get into these things?" I may have misquoted that. sorry if I did. .... Orr..... Princess Leia to Han Solo ::::: "I love you." Han to the Princess:: "I know." ..... Orrrr, Princess Leia captive of the Empire to Luke Skywalker ::::: "Aren't you a little short for a storm-trooper?"... Sarcastic,even in the face of death. Orrrrr::::: C3PO to R2D2 ::: "R2. What are you doing here?" ... I love R2D2's reply,,, "Serving drinks." ... How can one question the very obvious? .... There are many more wonderful quotes I would like to list,, but,, my absolutely 'favourite' quote from 'Star Wars A New Hope', is one that I like because of the air of doom & fatality it has,just by the saying of it. It comes from 'Darth Vader' :::: "Youuu are in command now; 'Admiral' Fyet." ::::: also I must add from the second Star Wars movie & for the same reasons, just one more quote, ::: from Darth Vader :::: "The Emporor is not is 'forgiving' as I am."
