Should I go to the doctor?
Last night, after drinking outside with my friends, I was going downstairs to eat. However, I slipped and hit the back of my head on hard wood, and I was suddenly looking up at the light on the roof wondering how everything happened, and layed there for 2-3 seconds until I realized where I was. I didn't black out or anything, but I don't recall exactly how I fell. I got up almost instantly, got my food I dropped, ate, and went to bed.
What was weird though was that I heard a clear ringing in my head. Otherwise .. any diziness or similar symptoms could've been confused with the drinking I had done earlier.
Today I've had a slight headache all day, and I feel really sensitive to light or loud noises.
I'm almost 100% sure I had a concussion, but I'm no doctor and I don't really know if I should go see one. If it was a concussion, are there certain symptoms/circumstances were resting etc. will eventually help the symptoms go away?
Seeing a doctor in my town (in Canada) will likely be about 6 hours of wait. I really don't want to go through that if it's not necessary.
*(I've never had a concussion before)*
