    LOL!

W didn't win that part of Iraq - only the green zone at the expense of over 5,000+ American Military.

I guess we'll just add that failed oil venture to the list of failed businesses that W has had over the years.

Unfortunately 5,000 American lives were lost on that goof-up of W's

    Good question.

Well the idea originally was to negotiate a cheap oil deal to help offset the cost of Liberating Iraq but the Democrats jumped on that with a vengeance and cried foul claiming that it was a Republican war or greed and chanting the slogan of “Blood for Oil” so the US officially withdrew the idea and gets no deal at all, not even a volume coupon 

The Democrats beat that horse mercilessly, insuring that the Republicans would gain nothing from the war and making sure that the American tax payer would bear the full weight of liberating Iraq without any cost sharing whatsoever. Thus turning what would have been a mutually beneficial humanitarian effort to liberate a people from oppression into a costly grinding war of attrition that they could use against the Republicans in November.

Because we recognise that the oil fields belong to the Iraqi people.

And even when we did control the oil fields and Iraq's oil production - we kept detailed records accounting for every dinar and drop of oil so we could prove that nothing was stolen and all of the revenues were spend on things that benefited the Iraqi people.

this is a conflict that cannot be gained. Even Bush Senior knew that if he went into Baghdad that something like this could ensue. you won't be able to conflict a Terrorist group such as you may a common military. the U. S. did defeat the army of Iraq. That grew to become into the uncomplicated section. this is style of like..... combating crime precise on our own streets interior the sturdy ole u . s .. we can by no skill have the skill to stop it from happening because of the fact there are undesirable men all around us. who're you going to bomb? useful, you may nuke each city in Iraq yet that may not do away with the terrorists. With the surge of troops in Baghdad, the terrorists have fled to the adjacent cities because of the fact they understand we won't be able to shop the surge up indefinately. you may kill each Muslim chief interior the international yet they're going to shop coming and coming and moving up leaders from the ranks. the only thank you to stop the conflict is to kill each Muslim interior the international. Then the only thank you to stop wars altogether is to do away with faith. seem how long this is been for Northern eire with the Catholics and Protestants.

We did with the war in Iraq. Taking over the oil fields wasn't a goal of going in there.

America isnt a "colonizing country"! Whats the matter with you?

We helped the Iraqis. And if they help us in the future, with oil imports, thats all good. The war is over. But idiots are STILL causing strife with violence and terrorist acts against civilians there.

Especially if the war was for oil as democrats claimed. Gas prices should be back to their pre-1967 levels if that were the case.

Our goal is NOT to occupy the nation, nor is it to make Iraq the next US territory, like Guam.
