Is this fair punishment?
My sister left a $50 note in my room.
I could have kept it. But I didn't.
I went to give it back to her, and because I was bored, I said to her "I will give you $50 to go onto the balcony and scream 'Lendend... Wait for it.... Dary!!! LEGENDARY!!' "
Just before she she said it, she asked "will you actually give to me?" and I said "If you do it, I will give you your $50"
So she did it. And I gave it to her. Then my mum worked out the the Money was actually my sisters to start with.
Now my mum is taking $50 from me to give to her. Do you think that that is fair.
I gave my sister back her money, and I said (subtly hinted) that the money was hers.
I'm 14, my sister is 11.
And I don't have a job?

Very clever of you...you never said it was YOUR $50 you were going to give to her, correct? So, you never lied to her and followed through with your agreement. Shame on your mom (mum) for taking an additional $50 from you. Explain to her how you never lied and followed through with your agreement so why should you be punished?
Bravo.... by the way...if I was your father, I'd pat you on the back and tell you how clever that was and then explain to your sister how she should make sure she fully understands an arrangement before agreeing. In the real world, you have to make absolutely sure what you are agreeing to when coming to an arrangement.

the young ones might desire to get the comparable therapy. If the whites have been suspended for 3 days the blacks should even have been suspended for 3 days. for each action, there's a reaction. The lynching image might desire to on no account have been positioned there because of the fact it further be plenty discomfort and opened previous wounds. all of us is speaking approximately how badly the white youngster exchange into overwhelmed. I observed the photographs and it ought to have been alot worse and he suffered no existence threating accidents. The white young ones have been incorrect and so have been the blacks however the whites on set the dispute which exchange into uncalled for. It exchange into unbeliveable. each and all the scholars in touch might desire to have been suspended or positioned on criminal quotes. Has everyone no longer observed that the white pupil committed a HATE CRIME yet he's being prosecuted for that? Why is that?

I don't really see what you did was so wrong. You gave her back the money and you both had a bit of fun. Tell your mom she's being weird and you were told so by a parent of 3 and an adult who works with grade school kids.

somebody taught you that life was fair or that it is supposed to be fair. but they lied to you. life can't be fair, if it was fair we would all be dead, because at some point somebody died for no reason at all and we are all alive. it isn't fair that we are alive and many people are dead for no good reason. but also life can't be fair. imagine your mom went and got ice-cream for you and your sister. she gets your favorite type of ice-cream, you like it and your sister doesn't. is it fair? i mean she got you both the same ice-cream, but your sister doesn't like it and you do. what if your mom didn't get your favorite ice-cream and instead got vanilla ice cream, one of you would still like it more than the other would. and that is how it is, nothing in life can be fair because different people like different things. but not just that, people also have different intensities about how much they like or dislike something and we can't possibly compare how much we like something with how much someone else likes something. our language just isn't capable of putting a universal exact amount of like, dislike, pleasure, or pain to anything. so it is impossible to be fair, and it is impossible to know just how close to fair something is.
so is the punishment fair? no, but it is impossible to have fair punishment. will it teach you a lesson in being more open and honest? probably and that is why your mother chose that punishment. does $50 even matter? not in the long run, give it about a month and you will have already spent it on little things. so a month of not having a few little things here and there isn't a huge punishment.

It just sounds like normal sibling stuff. Doesn't seem like a big deal. I don't get why she would take money from you unless your sister was humiliated. And even if your sister wasn't, she would agree to it because of course, she'd get extra money.

It kind of is, but not really necessary. If anything, she should be giving you a 50 for coming up with that funny prank and teaching your sister not to leave her cash lying around.

I think it's stupid. It was just a bit of fun and no1 got hurt.
Your sister should be taught to take care of her money.

Finders keepers lol - no I blame your sister for leaving it there, it was just a game. Maybe it is to teach you not to make fun of your sister and bribe her with money. It is a reasonable punishment

why would anyone punish someone over that - your mum is way harsh, you were just having a little joke, no one got hurt. Jeeze.
