Is losing 10 pounds in 4 days unhealthy?
I am a teenage girl. Since school ended for the summer, I have been doing stadium stairs and running a couple miles every morning. I'm not fat and I wasn't to begin with. I'm just trying to get ready for cross country running. Is this weight loss too fast? I haven't even changes my diet at all.

not at all. if you are getting ready for c.c that just means you're loosing fat and gaining more muscle :)

Yes it is unhealthy but it also depend on how you Lose it are you
• working out if so the just. Make sure you eat more and eat healthy.
• If you are Dieting then stop because you need to eat more then a little food make your meals a little bigger eat a little meat.
• If your not eating properly or not eating for a period of time you should talk to a Nutrition. Maybe if your not eating for a period of time then before talking to a nutrition then try to eat a little more each day for about a week.
•If you are just losing wait out of the blue then you should track how much you eat a day and then check online to see if it is a good amount of food for your hight weight and age. If you do not want to do that then talk to a nutrition

It's not unhealthy if your losing it in a healthy way. What I mean is as long as your not crash dieting and taking diet pills it's ok. I don't think i would call it healthy if you kept it up though you should have at least 6-7% body fat

Losing more than 1-2 pounds every week means that you aren't losing the unwanted fat, but you are losing important muscle that your body needs to keep you healthy.
