Universalists, how do you explain Daniel 12:2 and Matthew 25:46?

Daniel 12:2 "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." <--------Gabriel told this to Daniel in the old testament. this was a translation from HEBREW.

Matthew 25:46 "46And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
<----that one is a quote of Jesus, translated from GREEK.

It's explained by stating (correctly) that those passages are mistranslated.  Neither in the Hebrew there nor the Greek is there a word that really means "everlasting" or "eternal."  The words there are about an enduring, long-lasting or uncertain period of the condition, but it is not "without end."

edit > We do not have Bibles that are worded properly according to the original languages.  Most of the Bible would be virtually unreadable in English if they were.  Translators have taken great liberties in the process of translation into English.

Daniel was given instructions about the two resurrections that will happen in the future

And Matthew recorded the word of Jesus saying the same thing - the two resurrections that will happen in the future

As the words that both Daniel and Matthew used were given by the Holy Spirit on instruction from Jesus (the Word of God) and BOTH passages MEAN exactly the same thing . . .

What is your problem with these verses ? ? ?

Yes, some men wrote that Gabriel and Jesus said those things. If you believe the words you are actually believing the writers not the speakers.
