there are documented miracles all over the place.....who cares

And when you say that it could not be explained, how do you know it couldn't? All you can say is that it can't be explained right now. But so what, there is still a lot of stuff that we can't explain. That's what science is for.

perhaps they * shouldn't *. If God particularly gave all people unfastened will, then atheists, for despite reason, have desperate to no longer have self belief. As somebody above already suggested, "arguing" for God's life is somewhat moot. interior the top, somebody will have self belief because of the fact the Holy Spirit ultimately convicted them of the certainty. If one would not have self belief interior the Holy Spirit, i do no longer see that going on. If an atheist comes to a decision their present day life would not sense "genuine", they'll seek for some thing else. Do Christians have a "greater effectual" life because of the fact of God? seem at Paul, he grew to become into overwhelmed, whipped and run out of city for his ideals. Christians might say Christianity brings them convenience. An atheist might retort that they want no such crutch. Christians might say they sin much less. Ha! Neither has a lock on morality. You pronounced that we won't be able to use "the afterlife" as a help for why Christianity is greater effectual. If considered one of those predicament is placed on the reaction, then we ought to constantly follow reports in this earth. if so, if we decrease our reaction to life on earth, we'd discover that the atheist might * constantly * think of their life is greater effectual as an unbeliever. that isn't any longer until eventually you enhance right into a have self belief that your attitude transformations to comprise the afterlife. --- extra ---- i observed you suggested the two "interior the long-term" and "brushing aside the afterlife". To a Christian, the two are inseparable.

There can always conceivably be some naturalistic explanation. We find that for things we once found unexplainable that there is an explanation we can attribute to a natural phenomenon. So probably not.

Sure. If I saw a person in the Amputee hospital ward regrow their limb after praying to God, I would gladly believe in him. And yet I would still not worship him. The Biblical God ordered slavery, mass murder, mass rape, sex-slavery, and torture. There are modern day dictators who could never dream of competing with the tyranny God created in the Bible.

I would consider whether or not god exists, but if it actually claimed responsibility for said miracle in an irrefutable manner, I would be more likely to believe it exists.

If I saw a child amputee that I know, who was suddenly restored to having arms and legs because she prays to God to heal her, I would believe, yes.

I would believe there was a God when he appeared in everyone's mind and started granting wishes for free in show of his benevolence and omnipotence, otherwise it's live and let live.

If there is an omnipotent intelligent being that created us, oh well.

    If there isn't, oh well.

Nothing I think will matter on it's actions so it's healthier to not dwell on it.

There's no way to differentiate between what can not be explained and what can not yet be explained.

Its foolish to assume anything about the unknown because that's exactly what it is; unknown.

No. It must be a proven by scientists that some god did something. This has never happened.

I'll believe when I see a giant bearded man descend from the sky and cure cancer with his bare hands.
