Do all females do this?

It has been my observation that females (to whom I am well acquainted) often tend to begin statements without defining the context or pronouns. For example; my wife, out of the blue, will just say something like "he said it will be at 4:00". My daughter will walk by me and say "do you have it?" Or my secretary will say "I called her and she said for you to call her back". After rewinding them to fill in the blanks, I find that they are completing a conversation from days or weeks before. Is this a valid observation? Is this phenomenon avoidable? Is there an app for this? : )

Not all females, but many. I'm female and I struggle to understand other females because of this. My mother is one thank goodness, this has given me practice. You just have to think for a little while until you figure out the context.

I don't think ALL females do this. More females than males are likely to talk like this, but not all of them will. Yeah, it does seem to be a valid observation. An app? I have no idea.

Source(s): I do this myself a lot of the time...for some reason I find it amusing to confuse people. But that's just me. ^_^

A lot of women do, but not all. I've found it fun to invent a backstory to go with what they're saying, can add some excitement to an otherwise boring day!

Well, they remember fights from years back and then bring them up as if they're completing a long-running fight you thought had been years ago. Maybe you're right.

No. I'm a girl and when people do that I'm just like, "What are you talking about?".
