How do i get my parents to move from the suburbs to a big city?

1.) Find both of them satisfying jobs in their fields that pay well.

2.) Find a home that you can all live in that they can afford.

3.) Find a suitable school to attend.

Otherwise, you're just whining and bitching about your boring life, just like every other teenager in the history of ever.

Sadly unless the city is only an hour or so away your parents jobs are already there and it's too hard to just pack up and move. I have the same exact problem and I am glad that I at least have San Francisco to escape to when I need a get away but I have plans on moving to N.Y.C. after I graduate high school, sometimes you just have to have the strength to make the move for yourself. Just talk to your parents in a year or so (or now if you want even though it may be a bit early) about college and to set a fund up for college so you have enough money because college in a big city is a lot more due to the fact that rent is more expensive there, I think that'd help a lot.

My husband and that i've got been in an identical concern. We lived around NYC yet have been the two from the suburbs. Stop moaning. just be grateful you have a roof over your head and food in your mouth. So many people in this world have NOTHING!!!!!! In 4 years you will be 18 then you can get a job and live where you like. Volunteer your time to help others less fortunate than you are. Drama Queen is probably right.
