What do you think of Sting's new persona?
Obviously, he's emulating Heath Ledger's Joker-character from the "Dark Knight" movie. What do you think? Do you think it's entertaining, a disgrace, or bizarre?

I'm actually loving every bit of this new psycho, crazed, sociopath gimmick/persona that he appeared to have developed these past few weeks. It maybe reminiscent to the character of The Joker, but the gimmick is going over greatly and it seems to be working. His segment a few weeks ago against Hulk Hogan was gold and very well booked. The storyline with him trying to bring back "The Real Hulk Hogan" is arguably the best storyline in TNA today in my opinion. I'm very interested in seeing where the storyline goes and leads up to. So yeah I look forward of Sting going more ballistic around the Impact Zone.

I like it. It's entertaining and interesting. But I think he needs to keep making it his own and not copy too much of the Dark Night movie Joker. Example - Last week on Impact when Hogan beat him down and he just stood there and took it. That made me immediately think of the scene from the Dark Night when Batman did that to the Joker in the interrogation room at the police station. Blatant copying like that I think is lame. But when he just acts crazy but brings his own bit of style too it then it's great. Like when he was singing while lying on top of the lockers.

His new gimmick reminds more of Brandon Lee from "The Crow" more than the joker in Dark Knight.

A disgrace, Im a huge sting and Dark Knight fan and Sting to me was always an Undertaker~like serious character and I cant imagine Undertaker acting crazy like that. To me it just ridiculos and unneccary. It doesnt even seem like Sting.

It's really interesting because his Character has become a Loose Cannon and is so unpredictable. To hear Sting, Hogan and Bischoff talk about WCW and what happened there is also interesting.

Honestly I don't like it. I say he does what everyone wants to see him do and go back to the old sting, I mean like back in his "surfer" days. But just my personal opinion. I think he does a good job of portraying it but as far as the gimmick itself, I dont like it

I never cared about Sting and I'm not going to start now that he's too old to wrestle.

He's been over since the 90's.
If you want to laugh real hard at something. Check out his interview where he explains why he never went to WWE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktxW0vidElE&feature...
