How did you know when you were ready? ~10 pts~?
Girls, women, whoever, how did you know when you were ready for your first time having sex? What kind of things went through your mind before you decided it was time? Was you married? Was you with your boyfriend for a long time? Do you regret your first time and wished you waited?
Guys, this may sound like a strange question, but do you like being able to take the virginity of a woman?
Any kind of information would be great.
Thanks!

I was 15. I had just gotten back together with my ex boyfriend (who I ended up staying with for 4 more years.) I kind of planned it out, because I wanted it to happen so badly. Turns out I figured out quickly that when you plan things like that, they never turn out great. I do not regret doing it, however since I was with him for so long, I did wish that I waited until I was 18 or so.
We had so many pregnancy scares and things of that nature, that we just were not ready to take care of.
We were together for a total of 4.5 years. We were engaged and ready to marry, when things certainly were not working out. It has been 2.5 years since him and I broke up, and I was very hesitant to engage in sex with my current boyfriend (of almost 1 year now) because I wish I waited longer.
My problem was that being so young when I started, I came to figure that that was all anybody could ever want from me was sex. Luckily, my current boyfriend likes to prove me wrong on that.
Anyway, hope any of this information helps you with whatever it is that you are doing.

I was 21 and wish I'd waited for the right person. It just happened spir of the moment and it wasn't great nor ever was with this short relationship. I'd never consider seeing or even interested in this guy.
My advice is if it is the right person, wait and see how things go. Talk about it too. But, I'd wait till I got married. Doing it before marriage no matter the relationship seems to me as the (friends w/benefits) which I am so against with the younger generation taking sex so lightly. I'm in my 40's now.

When I get married I have sex. You don't have to have sex because that shouldn't be the only attraction. Couples should just like having people around

I was 18 and it was with someone i really liked at the time. He is still a friend even though we would never have any sort of relationship further than 'friends with benefits'. I did trust him, and i think that is key.
I have friends who lost their virginity after drinking too much and with a complete stranger!
i think that is unacceptable tbh because you do have to live with that.
