How often should you use flea and tick preventer?

I wanted to know how often you should use frontline plus. Online it says that for just a 6 pack it is $100. How long should that last for a small dog.

    Best value for the price, I'd use Advantage Multi. It's about $17- $20 a month here in Tulsa, OK. But it prevents heartworms, roundworms, whipworms, and tapeworms, and also fleas. Good Stuff!!

    Never unless your're talking about natural flea measures...I have not used chemical flea prevention for almost 6 months and have never caught a flea on my dog YET!

    it is applied once a month so a 6 pack would last 6 months

    check the internet and places like ebay you can find it cheaper than $100

    We never have and never will. My dogs, in all of 20 years of owning dogs, had a whole three ticks.

    Every 3 months, your dogs should be wormed and given flee protection
