2-3 minutes, then stir-2-3 minutes more, let sit 3 minutes. Best to start with 2 minutes and have to cook one more cycle than cook it to mush.

I put a pot of hot water on the stove, and turn the burner on high. While that is warming up, I measure out the desired amount of frozen vegetable into a bowl. When the water is really hot, but not quite boiling, I put the vegetables in long enough to thaw. I remove and add salt if desired. The whole process takes less than ten minutes. (I have a microwave, I just don't like to use it.)
