My car key is broken, can anyone help me find a rubber glove/cover for it?

I had this happen to a friend of mine...I had to drill a hole in it so he could keep it on a key ring at the least..(I know sounds really backyard) but it saved him $85.00....and he didnt loose his key.. you could use a good two part epoxy on it also, just have to get creative and mold it...HAHA Hope this helps good luck

I have been looking everywhere and I cannot seem to find what I am looking for. The part on my car key that hooks onto my key ring is broken. So instead of paying $60 for a new key, (because it has the computer chip in it), I just need a rubber cover to go on it. Something similiar to this just not...

shape a small peace of plastic dill a hole the size you need and then stick it to your key with super glue .

the "chip" could have memory about your use.........could tell the security alarm not to go off.........might enable the ignition system that is otherwise disabled without a key with the right chip in it.

Go to a locksmith shop. They should have those in stock.
