How can I convince my parents to let me get Call of Duty Black Ops?

My parents don't like video games where you shoot people. They let me get the Halo Series but that's. But I want Black Ops and Modern Warfare. I am think about telling them how you can turn on filters that limits the violence. What else should I say. My parents really don't like games where you soot people. Any advice?

Let them know it's a virtual world and you're not hurting anyone.

Explain that you understand the difference between video games and real life, how black ops is about the past, and is fiction anyway, and that playing black ops actually makes you feel better when you're having a bad day and such. I DO NOT OFFER ANY GUARANTEES! This may not work. If it doesn't work, wait until you're 17, or go to a friends house.

Introduce them to a rated M interest like metallic equipment stable 4, that's an exceptionally stable lesson on the militia business complicated, and the author is very anti-war. enable them to study up on it. i do no longer understand how previous you're, yet there are a number of large video games that are no longer rated M. Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Metroid, Brawl, Uncharted etc. relax, that is not any longer an exceptionally exciting interest besides, and at the same time as i've got self assurance for you, on the grounds that I went throughout a similar component, there are a number of assets you're able to do till then. Wait till you're 17 to worry her too lots. it might help to come across some study that tutor there is not any link between video games and violence.

My advice.... don't talk them into letting you get Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2.

WHAT?!?!? Here's my plan for you...

Speak with them about Modern Warfare 3, tell them that you want to work for it, and it'll give you time to work on them and and they'll understand how much you want it if you start asking for it now.

Plus, you don't want to do all the work to only have to try to do it again.
