What do you have to plan for in a Military wedding?

You have absolutely NO CONTROL over when he is able to get leave days for a wedding, honeymoon or anything else.

There is no such thing as a military wedding

You have a wedding, the military has nothing to do with it at all.

2. he wants to get married, then he needs to schedule leave with his supervisor for whatever time he wants off.

3. You want to get married on post, then you need to go to a chapel on post, and reserve the chapel the day you want to get married, then you need to find a priest, pastor, etc to agree to marry you

IE: your boyfriend does, not you.

4. You want to walk under the arch of swords after the ceremony ?

Then your BF has to find 8 friends, willing to take part in the wedding and wear their class a uniform

They have to be willing to go to the chapel and practice, ( on thier own time )

Note: most chapels have the swords that you can use during the ceremony

Again, everything is on peoples own time, the military is not gonna let people off work to be in the wedding

You don't bother planning haha. The Army stomps on plans, just elope.

you don't. only he can request leave and at any time it can be denied or rescinded. have back up plans for your back up plans, get military clauses in ALL your vendor contracts.
