Where is it acceptable to get tattoos on your body if you were in the military? And is their anything that someone could get as a tattoo that would automatically keep them from joining? I.e., pot leaves?

One of my friends was considering the military, however when she was little she had asthma...she swears that she was mis-diagnosed,seeing how she never needed any inhalers and that she never really felt short of breath.. so what will have to happen for her to get a waiver?

My grandmother keeps putting money in my account. She doesnt have money just lying around, and I always feel horrible when she gives me large amounts...how do I let her know in a nice way that I am uncomfortable and that she really doesnt need to do this. I am a college student as well.

I am trying to loose some weight. I am female, 5'6", and I weigh 190. I am trying to loose 20 more pounds. I am doing this for myself and for my Fiance. This is what I have been doing for the past week...Run a mile every morning, then 25-30 min on the elyptical, then about an hour of yoga and/or Zumba ...all in one day. I have been eating about 1000 calories a day. I would eat more if I were hungry, im simply not hungry... I have also been smoking (hookah) to curve some midnight snacking moods. haha. Am I doing this correctly? My good friend told me that I need to be eating more. but idk, i feel that would just set me back in trying to loose weight.

I am doing this mainly for myself...however my fiance has been in bootcamp for about three months now and he has told me that he has lost about 20 pounds (..he was perfect for me...) and so that is just making me want to loose the excess weight I have so I can be healthier and try to keep him attracted..or more attracted to me.

I am not worried about him going after other women, I know he loves me and no one would change that. no matter how sexy. he is very loyal as am I. : ) please help by letting me know what you think about the plan I set.

What should I take into account, and what type of back-up plans should I have?

My Fiance is graduating his boot camp and he was talking about a 48 hour thing...and how he had to be at his next post by 48 hours after graduation...and can someone clarify that for me.

And is he allowed to take a civilian plane to his next location, alone? I need to know all this like asap.

I smoke socially (both cigs and hookah) and I just would like to know if smoking would keep me from donating. I dont smoke often, however I am planning on smoking the night before...oh and last month I spent a few weeks in Europe..i.e. france, italy, spain, and england...would that keep me from donating? I really want to donate since my blood type is super hard to find, AB-.
