She's not depressed. Its a new house, new people - what did you expect? Her to just run around? Give her a few weeks to adjust to things!

Cats don't really get depressed, but some cats find a lack of stimulation present which makes then not too interested in what is going on. Nothing like a window to look out of to watch the goings on outside to keep a cat interested, especially if there are birds or squirrels.

But if this is her second home, she may not be sure it will not result in her being taken back to the Humane Society, and stuck in a cage for an undefined period of time.

So interactive attention will be useful. A shoelace to play tug of war, etc. She is no longer a kitten, but not really a senior cat, so she still has pep in her.

And playing with her, and getting her more active can result in weight loss, and more energy for her. Any weight loss has to be gradual, however.

Dont worry i had a cat like that sometimes when a cat is spay or nuder they become very lazy and sleep al day the cat I have now she's say but loves going out all day I gess it depends on the cat

She may just be stressed out from all the new homes and people and new families. Just keep her!! And give her lots of love and care and attention. Plus it's a new place, she could be shy and not used to the new place yet. She'll make herself at home soon enough.

Maybe describe some of her behaviours that lead you to believe she's depressed. She very well could be but with lots of tender loving care and attention she should come around

She doesn't know where she is or who you are. Give her time to feel less stressed out.

try to give her toys and see if she wants to play or pet her cause maybe she is feeling scared and lonely . Or maybe speak to your vet about it.
