Conservatives/Liberals: Do you ever go to the other sides medias to follow the news?

Conservatives do you ever tune in CNN/MS-NBC/Chris Matthews/New York Times?

Liberals do you ever tune in FOX NEWS/Rush/Hannity?

I find it fascinating to watch or listen to the other side. Really gives me the perspective on why I believe in the values I do!

All the time. To me it is like watching an important Trial. You learn the twists and turns the

Defense takes. In Politics you see clearly who has no problem bending the truth and who is kind and who is ugly and hateful.

Right now the Democrats have to deal with the Defense. Get the picture?

Yes, actually. As a Democrat, I sometimes watch Fox News.

All politics aside, I've noticed Fox News is much better at breaking news stories quickly. MSNBC tends to lag. CNN is about average. As a news/political junkie, I love me some breaking news. It gives me a rush!

I'm not too fond of CNN (except AC360--that's good television and Anderson Cooper is hot!). They tend to be mouthpieces for who ever they are interviewing. It's like watching political commercials.

MSNBC is good journalism. They dig deep and ask the right questions. Love most of their programming, except for Andrea Mitchell Reports, she seems like a weak anchor, and also a mouthpiece. And Ed Schultz is kind of obnoxious.

As for Fox, they may be quick to report on news but the quality of their journalism is quite low. They mislead people and oversimplify complicated matters and it's terribly annoying and irresponsible.

More or less I watch Fox News occasionally to figure out what the sheeple are getting angry over. Then turn to other news sources for accurate information.

CNN and MSNBC from time to time. 95% of whatever I see is mudslinging against republicans. And none of it is even true. Everything else is some girl trying to be cute by giggling at something stupid. And it still gives me headaches to this day how all they can do is blame the republicans, talk bad about them, and act like children.

I also like Anderson Cooper, very unbiased,

I used to watch MSNBC and the others but I got tired of the name calling and race-baiting and finger pointing.

At least with FOX I can get some news and some unbiased News reporting.

Glen Beck is no longer on FOX.

Hannity and O'Reilly are opinion people that 's what they are paid to do not report the news.

    Me? Independent and Conservative.

I check out liberal news and blogs all the time. I don't want anyone else making evaluations on my behalf.

BTW, that is not true of liberals. They constantly make the statement, "FOX lies," yet for a number of years when challenged about that statement not one liberal has been able to provide an example of Fox lying.... not even once. Sure tells you a lot about how much liberals care about the truth doesn't it?

Always...Bill O'Reily at 7pm, Rachel Maddow at 8pm and Anderson Cooper at 9pm. How else can I get decent coverage?!?!?!? Some days are better than others, but it makes the bias from each glaringly obvious.

I am a Conservative, but I watch Anderson Cooper. He isn't biased at all. I don't mind CNN. I do occasionally turn on MSNBC, but I can't stand it and I end up changing it shortly, but I try.

I see what your saying. As a Conservative its hard to watch news channels like MSNBC because alot of the things they say are not true. Especially about conservatives. But like you said, when I watch it, I feel a 100% commited to my political and social views.
