Cycling etiquette: Using the restroom?
So, haha, bear with me.
Whenever I go on group rides I always need to use the restroom & it's just a quick trip to the urinal to excrete the extra water I had.
My question: Should I take my gloves off for this? Should I keep them on & wash my hands with them on? I always wash my hands in the restroom when not cycling, but to be honest, not on my group rides since I figure I'm already dirty/sweating. So let me know just so I know what to do next time, because I really don't know if what I'm doing is wrong or not...
BQ: Why did eddy merckx move his upper body so much while riding? Isn't that usually unnecessary?
No sir, you are wrong. I'm just very curious.

I just leave my gloves on, I never bother washing my hands while riding. I always wash my hands at other times, though. Hell, half the time I'm on the mountain bike, and my urinal is a rock or the side of a cliff.
As for Merckx, he's Merckx. Just accept it, don't question it. Merckx can do whatever the **** he wants because he's so badass.

Dirt and sweat is one thing-bacteria is another.
Take the gloves off and wash, it will only take another 10 seconds.
BQ; Considering he was successful, whatever worked for him worked.

Wash your hands. Or don't wash them. Does it really make that big a difference?
