So, why are we attacking the rich, again?

I see some of you vilifying the rich because "they don't pay their fair share". Yet you will also mention tax loopholes that even your elected representatives use.

So instead of attacking the rich, why not attack government for not closing the loopholes? Otherwise you're attacking the symptom, not the cause.

Or why don't you make the sacrifice and make a donation the government instead of telling others to do it for you? If you won't because you don't have to, they won't because they don't have to.

Update:

Arm The Homeless: Wow, if that's all you can say, you're not even worth talking to.

I'm not even talking about controlling the rich. And if that's so, what's the point of spending on regulator agencies if they're that ineffective.

Update 2:

@Dylan: I would say the same about voters, who expect politicians to kiss their bums, all the way up until they get into office. In that case, the situation is reversed for a few years.

Update 3:

@c c: If a job the worker already has pays 650k that's taxed at 30%, leaving the worker with 500k, why would the worker go through training to earn a job that pays 1,000k and taxed at 50%, and leave him with the same pay of 500k?

Update 4:

Let's add more math. If the job pays 910k taxed at 30%, leaving him with 700k, why would he want a promotion that pays 1,000k, taxed at 50%, that leaves him with 500k, less than what he previously did?

Well that would require the politicians to be honest. Of course, an honest politician would break the laws of physics.

Decrease Business taxes to spur growth. Sorry but the rich and I mean the true wealthy not the 200,000 a year crowd have gotten a free ride for too long. Million dollar salaries deserve 50% tax rates.
