Does this girl like me?

Okay, well I've known this girl since 7th grade and I'm a Sophomore in High School now. I see her everyday and we have a class together. I talk to her all the time and she talks to me all the time, she laughs at all my jokes and is always smiling at me and what not. When I don't walk with her to the buses at the end of the school day she gets really sad and is all like"Noooo, come with me" and today at school one of my friends told me I should go out with her, and he was also one of her best friends.

Me, not liking to ask a friend out then getting said no to, y'know due to the fact it'd make everything awkward between us. So he said he'd find out later today if she liked me or not, I told her about the whole thing how he said we should go out, but not the part about me liking her or telling him to find out. She laughed and smiled and said"No, that'd be really weird"but the way she said it was...weird I guess, as if she 't legit, kinda how when people ask me if I like someone and I do I kinda stutter at my words when I say no.

I wanna ask her out, but I wanna know if you all think she might like me, cause I'm not quite sure.
