Well, it's not just for the kid.

The FAMILY is having roast beef tenderloin (I got a really good deal on the 'gotta sell it today' section of the meat counter), potato salad and green beans with fresh dill.

Daughter isnt' wild about potato salad, but I'm sure she'll eat it.

We're finally having the alfredo I promised a few days ago because I didn't have nearly enough parmesan. Takes 2 stinkin' cups and the bags only hold 1 1/2. Ari likes basically any kind of pasta, so I'm sure she'll be excited.

Do you have pasta? Make that and relax it in chilly water as quickly as cooked. Use some cheese cubes and vegetables that are cut back up uncooked (bell peppers in diverse hues, broccoli florets, carrot shreds, perhaps some avacado and so forth..) and a few cheese cubes. positioned a splash dressing that they like on it and serve pasta salad. some teenagers like it too with pepperoni products, pepper products, some cheese and dressing. in case you have left over rooster cut back it up into chunks and positioned on skewers with vegetables that are gently steamed. serve with chunks of fruit on the part and a few yogurt dip for the fruit. Grilled ham and cheese or mac and cheese is likewise basic on a warm day. order out in case you do no longer decide for to prepare dinner positioned something on the grill. in case you have a pizza stone, make pizzas and do outdoors on the grill so your residing house does not get warm interior. We had (England!) Beany Cottage pie with carrots and peas. It's just cooked mince, a small carton of baked beans, and gravy, mixed and covered in mashed potato and browned in the oven for half an hour and my daughter's favourite meal.

We're having veggie cholent, rice with peanut sauce and boiled eggs on the side. We're also having traditional braided bread and ice-cream for desert. The kids love cholent and boiled eggs, I am sure they will devour it because we haven't had it in a while. The tofu with peanut sauce is not going to be as successful with my oldest son because he's not too fond of my rice.

We're having salmon cakes, noodles, and green beans. Of course she does or I wouldn't be making it. I take everyone's food preferences into consideration when planning my menu. Well, her dad and I do occasionally like to have spicy food and she doesn't like spicy food. Then I just prepare her portion in a separate pan without the spices or substitute something else.

We had chicken and veggies last night. Tonight is Ahi Tuna steaks, hope they like it we usually have salmon. I've never had it so excited to cook and taste it. If they don't like it, I'll use the leftovers to make sushi rolls.

DO OVER, now I want alfredo.

  • Thai red chicken curry with spring rolls and peanut sauce. Well thats what I made yesterday. Having left overs today. She likes it...the rice especially.

I am fixing chicken and dumplings with green beans on the side. They both love chicken and dumplings....one of their fav meals. Emma doesn't like green beans - Laura does.
