why do one out of 4 gopers think that Obama is a muslim?

When you consider the extremest views held by some in the GOP it is not surprising.

Many of these individuals have a high intolerance for non-white, non-Christians.

He was raised to be tolerant of all religions and that's what has them scared. Because he has Muslims in his family, that must mean that he's a secret Muslim himself. Just because his father was a former Muslim, at his death he was an atheist, does not mean that the President is automatically a Muslim, but the right promotes that and the followers believe it. They seem to forget that the President does things that are totally against the Muslim religion, eating pork, smoking and other things. These things are subject to death, if broken, under Islam. He has not had a death threat against him because of that.

And, the right has misinterpreted the section in Obama's book where he stated he would stand with the Muslims, if necessary. He was speaking of the United States doing the same thing to American Muslim that they did to the American Japanese during the war. He will stand with the American Muslims, if America tries to imprison them just because they are Muslim.

Being tolerant of other's beliefs does mean the person is not a Christian. It means that the person practices his religion much closer to that of Christ than others do.

Obama's wife made him change his religion to Christianity, when Obama was about 30, to make him more electable. Obama's father was a Muslim, Obama was raised a Muslim but changed religions for appearance sake. Obama went to the church of Rev Wright who is not a Christian, he spews hatred, venom and racism, which is a part of what Obama is.

Possibly, the reason people compare Obama to Muslims, he and extremist Muslims hate the spirit America was founded. Obama is all about growing government and supporting far left ideals.

They know better. It is just Republican political talk. They think they can convince some people to vote against him. It has been over three years now and no one is buying in except them.

Who are you going to believe? This guy said he is a muslim, so I have to go with him.

Personally I think he is an atheist/liberal, liberalism has become a religion.

Because he is. and because they know he is a liar.. so why would they believe even one thing he has said. That phony birth certificate did nothing to make anyone think anything different!

I don't truly think this man believes in any God, be it Allah or whoever... I think he is too egotistical to truly believe in any power other than his own. As for him "being" a muslim, I think he is like a chameleon and wants to make any group think he is one of them in order to get power and votes.

I think he sympathizes with Muslims, though.

I think he goes out of his way to show favor to them.

I think he is __________. Well, I truly cannot say what I think here. ; )
