No 3ds games run on a different system from the ds lite, not making it compatible with the ds lite.

No 3DS games are compatible with a Nintendo DS Lite system.

DS game cartridges do work on the 3DS though.

no thus because the 3ds is a new platform meaning that if the ds were reverse play nintendo will be losing money. so only dsi and down other than that you will nto be able to play a 3ds game through a lite. but you may certainly play a ds game through your 3ds.

Sorry, nope. Not only would it lessen the point of buying a 3DS, but 3DS game cartridges have a small tab on the side of them, so they wouldn't even fit in a regular ds cartridge slot.

    Hi,

No, it is not. But you can do what you said in reverse. You can play DS Games on a 3DS system.

Nope, you can't play 3DS games on the DS lite, you can play DS games on the 3DS however.

No they are not. Think about it

if they were, why would Nintendo make an entire new 3ds System?
