Does anyone in here see the great need to repent?

Christ will come when all His Prophecies have been completed. He will come in the Clouds and all that are asleep in the Lord will meet Him in the air but not before the last generation who are still alive. We all need to know the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation and see the whole Picture of the End time. Not something all churches teach but for you and your personal walk..this is a good idea. To repent just means to change your mind. Biblically it means to change your ways of thinking to the principles taught by the Bible...think 10 commandments as a start. God is not going to force anyone to repent - or change their mind to his views, he asks & pleads with people to do so because behind every decision we make there are consequences, some good some bad. The idea is to avoid any unwanted or undesirable consequences.

I realize I haven't addressed the Rapture & I'm not sure what' s going to happen if there is one & it's almost here, though I believe to change your mind or repentance can be a good thing, with or without the Rapture.

Repent for salvation, and repent for wrong doings in life to continue on the path of righteousness (our walk, that which we will be rewarded on 1 Corinthians 3). Two different areas of understanding.

According to whom? My grandmother said the rapture was going to happen when my mom was a child and her parents said the same. People have been saying that since the crucifixion.

You know, despite the Left Behind Series, you can look at it in the opposite way. The people not taken will be here in the Millenium and the people who left were wicked and could not remain on the earth during the Millenium.

Repenting do not wash you of your sins and let you go to heaven. If repenting does that. Then what is the point of hell? If Hitler repented. Does that mean he is in heaven right now?

Hell, you should all go commit rape and murder until the day you die and then just repent and you go to heaven...
