    The Godfather Trilogy

    N/A - Haven't seen.

    Star Wars Original Trilogy

9 - Mostly excellent, fell off a little with ROTJ.

    Star Wars Prequel Trilogy

8 - The first two were lame, but ROTS mostly made up for it.

Indiana Jones Original Trilogy (Raiders, Doom, Crusade)

10 - Excellent all the way through. (If Crystal Skull were considered, the mark would be lower.)

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

10 - Excellent all the way through, spectacular visuals.

The Terminator Trilogy (The Terminator, Terminator 2, Terminator 3)

7 - The first two rocked; the third fell way off - and draws additional docking for not being consistent with the first two.

    The Bourne Trilogy

8 - Solid all the way through, but not that spectacular.

    The Matrix Trilogy

6 - The first one totally rocked. The next two were a long trip downhill.

Pirates of the Carribean Trilogy (Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End)

8 - Mostly good, but the story got a little weird in the third one. Also docked because of KK starving herself into a skeletal waif for the last two movies; her look left me wondering what Will still saw in her.

    Transformers Trilogy

7 - The first one was excellent. The second one was also pretty good, even though it left one with the impression that the government must have ponied up the dough for Michaela to get implants as well as for Sam to go to college (since Megan Fox was jiggling all over the landscape in the second movie). In the third one, the storyline was lame, clinching the "7" mark -- but it did have the best FX of the trilogy.

    X-Men Trilogy

8 - Consistently good all the way through; the third one got a little weird with the film take on the Dark Phoenix storyline.

    Spider-Man Trilogy

7 - The first two were excellent; the third one fell way off. Props to Maguire and Dunst for being savvy enough to know when to call it quits, since they took a pass on making any more.

    The Mummy Trilogy

Depends a little bit on what you consider to be the Mummy trilogy ...

The Scorpion King, The Mummy, and The Mummy Returns: 6, as The Scorpion King doesn't fit well at all with the other two.

The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor: 7. In this case, it's Dragon Emperor that's the misfit, but not as badly as The Scorpion King.

    Blade Trilogy

8 for unevenness - The first movie was excellent; the second was blah and did more raising questions than it did continuing the story. The third one, however, was excellent and resolved the issues the second movie raised.

    1. The Godfather Trilogy--even though the last one didn't come close to living up to the first two, it wasn't bad. and the first two were epic 9/10

    2. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy--fantastic battle scenes, epic fight between good and evil, great lines. first class from start to finish. 9/10

    3. The Terminator--love it. I even liked the 3rd one. great sci-fi premise, good love story in the first one. fantastic villains.8/10

    4. Star Wars Original Trilogy--no deep meaning to it, but a great adventure story from start to finish. even the ewoks don't take much away from it. and it really was the first of its kind. 8/10

    5. Indiana Jones Original Trilogy (Raiders, Doom, Crusade)--takes a hit for the second one and even the crusade is a little hokey in parts. but still a good adventure story with a very memorable character 8/10

    6. The Bourne Trilogy--fantastic action. there isn't as much to the story as in the other trilogies, but what is there is well thought out and well done. 8/10

    7. The Matrix--I loved the entire trilogy even with all the twists and turns right up til the ending. I HATED them making peace with the machines. unsatisfying. 7/10

    8. SpiderMan--great story, love raimi's directing. but the third one really takes away from the series as a whole. there were just too many villains, and you never felt satisfied by how any of them were handled 7/10

    9. The Mummy Trilogy--again, loved the first two. really loved the characters. but I couldn't really get into the third one with a different Evie. 7/10

    10. Pirates of the Carribean Trilogy (Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, At World's End)--enjoyable though the 2nd and the 3rd one didn't really hang together emotionally. 7/10

    11. Star Wars Prequel Trilogy--very unsatisfying and disappointing. but I'll give it points for ambition. 6/10

    12. X-Men Trilogy--you can't really take xmen as seriously as some of the others. the first two were fun but pretty shallow. and I detested that they killed off almost everyone in the third one. wtf? 6/10

    13. Blade Trilogy--liked the first one, but I didn't see any point in the next two. 3/10

    14. Transformers Trilogy--dumb from start to finish. cgi / explosion overkill. 3/10

*The Godfather Trilogy 7 - Good atmosphere, doesn't underestimate the viewer

*Star Wars Original Trilogy 8 - Classic epic, likable characters

*Star Wars Prequel Trilogy 5 - Jar Jar Binks, too much CGI

*Indiana Jones Original Trilogy 6 - Entertaining action

*The Lord of the Rings Trilogy 5 - Good acting but story is too cliché by today's standards (haven't read the book btw)

*The Terminator Trilogy 7 - T2 is a great action move, T1 hasn't aged quite so well, T3 is bad

*The Bourne Trilogy 7 - Modern Bond, great and relatively believable action sequences

*The Matrix Trilogy 9 - 1st one is a masterpiece, sequels are okay

*Pirates of the Carribean Trilogy 6 - entertaining but nothing memorable. Sparrow is quite a fun char.

*Transformers Trilogy 4 - humor isn't really to my liking, not much to see beyond action

*X-Men Trilogy 7 - a good balance of action and drama

*Spider-Man Trilogy 6 - actors didn't fit the roles, but otherwise okay adaptations

*The Mummy Trilogy 5 - light entertainment with nice visual effects

*Blade Trilogy 6 - First two are pretty good action films with nice dark atmosphere.

Yeah, well I tried 'new' math, 'old' math, finger math and toe math but still can't get 14 movie titles into a 1 - 10 rating scale.
