ex christian atheists: Do you get sad sometimes that you were decieved?

It is my mother that is sad because she knows that although I look after her in her old age I will never forgive her for the child abuse of trying to force her religion into me!

Not really. I gave it up when I was ten - I was sadder about Santa. It's not unusual for kids to believe what they're told. I just grew up and learned to separate facts from bullsh!t.

No, because I was never religious. But most people I know who have "quit" religion kinda regret heving lost their time.
