I hadn't noticed just how much my life resembler a dr.phill special till I told him I could be his daughter. Now what? Where do we go from here, I can't help but feel regret. How do I make sure he's my actual father. Its been 18 years! HELP!!!!!

Hi there....how exciting, you may have found your father.  You'll be feeling lots of different emotions now, and they'll change over time too.

You haven't given much information but I think from what you've written, the first thing you need to do is confirm that he really is your dad.

The one person who can confirm that is your mother!?  Or if not her, then another family member who would know who your father is, like on mum's side of the family?
