Physics & astronomy degree, HS courses?

I haven't taken Physics in High school but want to apply for universities as a Physics&Astronomy major.

Will doing so hold back my application? Should I just apply as a liberal arts student and switch my major as I get in?

Update:

I've taken and passed trig, stat, & calc. but have only taken chem and biology.

No, that won't hurt your application, although it would have helped. Just apply as a physics major. Keep in mind you need a PhD in one of those fields to do anything in astronomy or astrophysics.
