9 month old randomly keeps vomitting?
my daughter first started vomitting last tuesday night, like massive projectiles. no meal stayed down until lunch time weds and i took her to doctors - they said viral tummy bug fluids rest etc. she came good by that weds night, kept down dinner, bottles and breakfast thurs then thurs lunch came back again. she has be totally fine since, until tonight, dinner came up is massive massive amounts and is very projectile. she doesnt have a fever, her poos are pretty normal, shes eaten it all before and been fine so im starting to get a little worried because its happening randomly with her being okay in between plus no fever etc.
any ideas what it could be?
i plan on calling her doc tomorrow for an appt.
thanks for any ideas

It sounds like your little girl is suffering from a common case of being a baby.
I am assuming that she is on solid food right? Even if you started her on solids at 4 months, she still needs some time to grow into it. Most important is that you have her on a schedule and control her amounts. The little ones sometime do not know when to quit and will basically kind of overflow. So, just because your baby wants and wants and wants like the tend to do, say no! Talk to your doc, time it out, and that at those times that is all she will get.
Also, just like us, baby needs some time to let things settle down in the tummy. No big bouncing or extreme toys for about 15 min.
With those pointers being said, she is a baby and that is what happens a lot. If baby throws up her usual milky, sticky, goo with maybe some colour from what she last ate, and , and, still happy andf content? Then most likely she is happy and content.
It just happens. When your baby is very very upset because of her vomitting or you see signs of blood maybe, then call the nurse.
Also be realistic. Is she really emptying out her stomach or is she just puking up some really gross milky whitish stuff?

I would actually call the doctor's office today. The answering service will get him/her for you. Speak to the doctor on the phone. An emergency room visit may be in order.
