So evolutionists proved matter came from nothing?

Or maybe matter has always existed?

    Evolution ain't proved sh*t!

No, in fact evolution doesn't address the topic of deity at all, one way or another. Personal religious belief is too subjective of a phenomenon to lend itself to the scientific method. I don't know why so many people stupidly assume that you have to be an atheist to understand and accept the evidence for evolution.

Evolution certainly shows that literal interpretations of some details of some creation stories (e.g. the Hebrew creation story found in Genesis) doesn't match up with what we see in reality. But that doesn't disprove the existence of God, anymore than the falseness of the cherry tree story disproves the existence of George Washington.

No the evolution theory, will never disprove that invisible friends exist.... because that theory is about explaining how was the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.

No, not at all. The big bang doesn't even disprove the existence of god.

A family member of mine is a Theoretical physicist and devout Christian and he believes that evolution is the process god used to ultimately create man, and that Adam & Eve, rather than being the first humans, were the first humans given knowledge of god.

The way he explains it is that everything you create needs a process. You can't just *create* a cake. The creation of a cake is a process.

    no it doesnt

but it does disprove the existence of gods that claim to have created the earth and all ceatures at the same time

in other words it disproves christianity islam and judaism and probably some other

but it doesnt disprove god itself

matthew you are horrible, you are everything that is wrong with christians

it is people like you who made me realise that christianity is absolutely insane

look at all the atheists answers, completely rational and in total agreement, and we are even big enough to admit that evolution doesnt disprove god. could you imagine a christian being so magnanimous, i cant

Yes! Because evolution shows how humans lived millions of years and where we come from. Evolution shows how living things change over time. If there was a god who made things, than nothing would change like it does. There wouldn't be no evidence of ape man like we have today. Science gets to the core of all these subjects if people listen and are honest.

It gives very big clues that god doesn't exist, I am speaking of the one of the christian bible god. If you agree with evolution than you can't believe god exist, they don't add up good together, they are completely different ideas.

Depends on which God you're talking about.

If you believe that God pooffed the world into existence in six days and magically created every animal on the planet in one of those days, then yeah, evolution presents a bit of a problem.

If you hold deistic or pantheistic beliefs, then you can fit evolution into your concept of God quite easily.

Evolution doesn't deal with the question of God, but if the God you believe in comes into direct conflict with evolution, then the evidence for evolution will always beat out God.

No, Evolution says nothing about god.

Only that life on our planet has changed in populations over time, creating the diversity of life we see today.

Evolution doesn't require god though, and it does mean that the genesis myths like "Adam and Eve" have absolutely no validity.

No. Evolution has nothing at all to do with religion. Rationality and intelligence disprove the notion of invisible magicians.

No, it doesn't disprove the existence of a god, but it does disprove the *poofing* into existence of a fully grown man.

(the Scientific Theory of) Evolution does not disprove 'god', and it was never intended to do so. It's only purpose is to show how life evolved and is still evolving.
