Please pray for Iranian man who is scheduled to be executed for not converting to Islam?

An Iranian pastor is scheduled to be executed as early as Friday for refusing to convert back to Islam.

Youcef Nadarkhani, who was arrested in 2009 for the crime of apostasy, has reportedly been given three opportunities to recant his Christian faith. Although no verdict was reached after the pastor’s last hearing on Wednesday, September 28, some reports from the region suggest that he may be put to death by the end of the week.

The current situation seems to be that Nadarkhani may be both pardoned and executed (see link).

The penalty for apostasy in Islam is death, no serious Imam argues otherwise.

This is why the faith cannot be allowed to continue.

Not just for refusing to convert; he is also a pastor. Converting others away from Islam is punishable by death.

Heavenly Father I am in agreement with this person to uphold Youcef Nadarkhani to you in prayer. I know that whatever happens will be for Your glory. If it is possible O LORD, please spare Him his life so that He may be a beacon to others.

We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen and amen.

He is not the first Martyr.

He will not be the Last.

He will have a high place-in Heaven!

I'm not a theist, let alone a Christian, but yeah, I can do that.

He was given not one, but THREE opportunities to obey the law of his country and still did not relent or seek asylum in another country? It's his own fault. Sad, but his own fault.
