Just judging my own instinct, Singapore is one of the wealthiest countries in Southeast Asia. I guess everybody can afford a lawyer in Singapore, that is my general conclusion. Forging a mere signature is not a very grave offense. Unless it is connected with the financial transaction of a company. Since it is only about job application and job search and forge their signature, there is no offense so grave that will land you in jail.
You will not go to jail for this. Everybody forge signature on job search or even to the job application or fake some names etc...as long as the faking is involved only you then you have nothing to worry about. The one thing that is so serious is faking one signature to take out millions of money that is a very serious offense, that will lead you to the prison compound or correctional facility there in Singapore.
