OK, let's ask this question one more time for good measure...?

I asked this in regular old society & culture section and got bland answers, i asked again in religion and spirituality and got some more colorful albeit similar answers so i wonder what the people in this section are gonna say?...

What is the difference between good and evil? and why do you believe that to be true?

Good is what is allowed to happen without punishment by the sovereign, which in our case is the American government.

Some people still think the sovereign power is God, (in God we trust) thus they think God is good, and they know there is another character that is associated with doing bad things which must than make satan the sovereign of evil. These are naive takes on a far more complex matter.

Rousseau wrote that the general will of the people is good, and that if one acts in accordance with it they are doing good. Absolute good, means survival, vitality, happiness, and success. Where as evil, means dying, suffering, depression, and failure.

  • well........ I'm good and you're evil. Why? you're evil kenival for asking the question and the internet's the devils work

Anything that is good is of God; anything that is evil is of Satan--pure and simple.
