Do you think he has any interest in me or is he just pretending? (leave link, I'll answer yours)?

Question

I'm 17, and there's this guy who goes to my school. There's something about him that makes my heart skip a beat, so let's just say I have a crush on him. I've been admiring him from a distance, and he noticed a while back. At first he didn't seem to care, but after a while he started (for example):
- Looking deeply into my eyes whenever I passed him
- Turning around and looking at me when I passed him
- When I have my bad days and give him less attention than usual, he gives me even more, and he really speaks louder and stuff when he talks to his friends
- His friends (whom I don't know) often stare at me, especially when he's not around (they never have any expressions on their faces)
- We were on the same bus one day, and he was clearly nervous and was playing with his fingers, and his friend poked him and pointed at me. He told his friend to stop it. I didn't see it myself, but I have a friend who sat next to them, and she told me so.
- He was stretching his arms over his head and yawning in the hallway, and when he noticed me he panicked at quickly closed his mouth and put his hands down
- When I passed him in the hall one day he looked into my eyes, I look into his, and when I noticed his friends looking at me as well I was embarrassed and looked down at the ground. Then he put his hand out of his pocket and started flickering to the rhythm of my shoes. (I wore heels that day)

1) Do you think he's a jerk who just likes the attention and therefor act like that, or do you think he might actually have any interest in me?

2) Why do you think his friends stare?

3. Do you have any comments to any of the incidents I told you about?

ok this is easy :)

1) he is no jerk, as far as i can tell here, and he does seem to have an interest in u, considering what u have just mentioned (eg, he look into ur eyes, was nervous around u,etc)

2) his friends prolly stare at u coz he may have told them about u, that he likes u or he finds u a mystery that he likes. Usually when that happens, friends would get intrigued and would look at the girl his buddy fancies.

3) i think if u like him, and he shows signs of interest in you, u shld go for him. Ask him out for a drink or do something fun together, and not things that are so typical such as watching movies together. Do exciting and fun things together, even without telling him ur interest yet. For example, u can go on go-kart racing together, or go to the theme park for an exciting ride. Doing fun things together can form bonds between two persons and leave each side associating the other side with happiness and joy, which can help attract both of u together. Dont make it a date, make it look like a friend gathering, but just u and him. Then, move from there and make progress.

If he's acting like he likes you then he probably does, maybe he is shy to talk to you as well? If he is getting stick from his mates it's unlikely that he's just pretending. His friends are probably just trying to wind him up by staring (it's what boys do) Have you ever spoken to him? If you can find the courage just try to chat with him, you may be able to get to know one another and take things from there :)

I don't know why he would pretend to like you, cuz if he did he would be a complete asshole. I definitely think he likes you, though. His friends probably stare cuz he probably talks to them about you (yes, guys talk too haha) so they probably point at you and tease him about it (not making fun of you though). I would say they're all signs that he definitely is interested, you definitely should make more signs obvious that you like him, too. Talk to him some more, make friends with him, and I'm more than sure he'll ask you out :)

Hmm, instead of only guessing i could advise you hint to him your interest and ask. especially situations human beings would be giving incorrect indicators or we misinterpret them. although, it must be actual that he somewhat likes you. Why not you hint back and ask?
