does this count as volunteering?
I adopted 4 cats from the street... took them to the vet and found them a home. does it count as volunteering? should I put it on my resume at all? (I have never had a job so I'm just listing my skills and volunteering experiences)

No, adopting cats from the street, taking them to the vet, and finding them a home does not count as volunteering. It's called being a nice person who is an animal lover, however that should not be included on your resume.
