Because Hollywood is so corrupt they would just think it was a parade.

The protesters are occupying the government and economic centers such as Wall St. and City Hall where it's more of a gesture targeting the people who really got us into this situation.  Hollywood had nothing to do with our recession, so why should people be mad at them?  There is an Occupy L.A. that was being held in downtown near the City Hall last week.
