Which animes disappointed you the most?

Karin (Chibi Vampire): For getting so much weaker towards the end.

Chrono Crusade: For having sub-par animation (especially for Gonzo) and playing to everything except its strengths.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: For having a second season that was so much more tame than the first one.

Serial Experiments Lain: For wasting the intelligent parts on the annoying parts.

Chobits: For waiting over half the show to get to the good stuff.

Mahoromatic: For making insufficient use of its own premise.

Rosario + Vampire: For wasting everything else on bad writing.

Hands down, it's Neon Genesis Evangelion. Not that it's a bad series, mind you. It's quite watchable. Once. But this constant, ridiculously high, praise that it gets set me up for the gosh-darned Second Coming, or something. Best Anime Ever, my @$$. Another one that seems to get a lot of unwarranted praise is Ouran High School Host Club. Unoriginal, shallow, unfunny, repetitious tripe. With so many great animes out there, which don't get anywhere near the same kind of woo-hoo that this one does, WHY this one is so popular is way beyond me. It bored me silly. And then there's Yumeria. It tries to cross Sailor Moon with Tenchi Muyo, and the result is a stupid, unentertaining waste of time. Truly a project in the wrong hands. If a series ever deserved a mercy killing, it's this one. I'd rather sit thru a combo marathon of both NGE and OHSHC, than five minutes of this one ever again.

Trinity blood-the maker died but his friend continued the work so thnx for making a cliffhanger ending and half of the story,would appreciate the second season to clear **** out kthnx

Vampire knight-barely made it through the end,hoped for some serious vampire killing scenes,got nothing,and after all that agony not even one lousy kiss SERIOUSLY?

Vampire princess Miyu-series seems unfinished,have to read the manga

Death note-loved it eventhough they killed the best character in the middle of the story

Bleach-loved it at the beginning,but too many fillers get on my nerves,also a bit repetitive,and lately the animation sucks (the drawing),i liked how characters looked before (not like aliens how they look now)

Ufff,i could go on and on...and these are mostly my fav animes...oh well...

Umineko no Naku Koro ni

it is considered to be the third season of when they cry and from the same writer

but as much as when they cry was a master piece umni was total garbage that presented nothing but girls with big b00bs

And i have to agree with the guy who mentioned

the end cant be more missed up

to the level were i was forced to read the manga (and at that time i didnt even consider reading manga)

the hero lost an Arm and an eye and his girl friend being raped in a dimension filled with monsters and no exit <=== just imagine my feelings when i was watching this

Every so often I like romance anime and was recommended Fruits Basket. Yawn fest. Painfully boring and slow. Also, I was looking for great gore and creepy stuff and was told to watch Elfen Lied. Not so much. I really loved High School of the Dead but the greatest disappointment was that it was an ecchi.

Berserk

It was actually a decent anime but it left me with such a cliff hanger ending, not even a cliff hanger ending but more like a watch the manga to find what happens next ending. It was seriously the worst ending ever which is sad since the rest of the serious was actually pretty good.

Berserk and Gantz hands down are most dissapointing

because im sure most of you can relate to this you read a manga and then watch anime sure the manga is obviously better but the anime is nice not too much different but theres a bit and is still great Gantz was just akwards as hell and was to boring to watch but manga was amazing

berserk i read berserk and that made me from a diehard anime fan to a die hard manga fan anime a bit of a fan then i heard there was an anime of berserk go to read and what is this its like a ******* trailer of the damn manga covers barley anything and suck it looks horrible the voicing sucks *** i was so dissapointed 2 years ago i would watch about 10-30 animes in a month! yeah full animes when i first heard of one piece i was like aw its gonna be stupid watched 28 episodes the first day was like WTF this is amazing looked stupid but it rocks i got caught up to like 400 episodes in like what a week and a half? talk about no lifing it up right? ever since i TRYED yeah see the tryed i couldn't finish it but ever since i tryed to watch berserk i am watching oh, i'd say somewhere between 2-10 episodes in a month! yeah i went from 10-30 who series a month to 2-10 EPISODES a month that is how badly i was dissapointed...

Bleach a bit too they cut around to many corners one piece is the only anime i can watch daily every time it comes out bam i watch it im probably 30 episodes behind on bleach idk i watched up until this dumb filler one piece im right after naruto and sauske fought after sauske killed that asshole guy with sharingan in his arms i got bored from there but yeah

All of these pretty much suck.

I was most disappointed in learning about the way Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura was manipulated in English to eliminate the homosexual relations. So stupid. Ruins everything.

They all need to freaking be continued in mangas. So dissapointed and pissed off right now.

Well Idk, But The one that was most disappointing to me was School Days, just because the massive Twists and turns, It seemed so morphed. It was brilliant and true, but It messed with the viewers emotions so much It pisses you off.
