To me, it means people who take the Bible literally. It's ridiculous, because most translations are not very accurate, and even if they were, many of the stories in the Bible are just allegory and legends, which Fundamentalists do not seem to realize.

When I think 'fundy', I think of a person who doesn't know that much about what the Bible actually say but votes and dictates based on what their church teaches...or what they think it teaches.

Believing the bible is true and adhering to its principles without twisting and changing the words to suit myself.
