Where is the evidence that man (or human beings) are the most intelligent of all species created by God?

the Bible is very realistic in speaking of animals as “unreasoning

(2 Pet. 2:12) But these [men], like unreasoning animals born naturally to be caught and destroyed

Where does it say humans are the most intelligent of all God's creations? First of all, we may not be aware of ALL God's creations. How does one measure intelligence in a creature who cannot speak or communicate with us? The best thing we can say for we humans, is that we have a soul, a sense of humor, and the knowledge of right and wrong that differentiates us from other earthly creatures.

The fact that humans are able to build such complex civilizations and think about things that other animals can't and the fact that we are able to change our culture much faster than any other animal and the fact that we are able to build machines and the fact that we are able to genetically engineer other animals and plants and the fact that we can go places that we could not naturally go all and the fact that we can understand our origins indicate that we are smarter than all other animals. Other animals do some similar things to us such as use tools and make homes but the difference is they do what they do primarily by instinct and changes to their genes are often necessary to get them to behave differently and they change the way they do what they do much more slowly than humans and the way they do things though complex is not nearly as complex as humans. We were not created by a god and we were not created by a species but we happen to have the most significant advantage of all species in the form of the most powerful brain.

Your first problem is that you did not define intelligence. Dolphins have shown a great deal of intelligence and the ability to problems solve but really don't seem to care to unless it's needed. We tend to define intelligence by human intelligence standards, which we excel at.

Next, God does claim that man is 'very good' and made in 'God's image', but does that mean intelligence? It is rather a jump to go from 'very good' to intelligent.

Personally, I tend to think we are..... but then I look at the comments on some of these posts and I wonder.

This topic is mainly controversial. All I can say is that everyone has there own opinions. Go by what you believe in all the time. No one can really say that "this is how this is suppose to be" because we never really know. Anything is possible. But knowing and believing life from inside of you will get you way farther than finding answers outside of you.

Intelligence does not guarantee Smartness. A man can be brilliant in mind, and stupid as a rock.

Actually, man is just below the angels in abilities and intelligence but man has a soul which angels do not.
