Anime recommendations? Please!?

Anime like Death Note (all of the following are physiological anime with dark atmosphere where the main lead win against his enemies by using tactics and strategies )

-Kaiji : Gambling themed anime were the main char is forced to participate in death gambles

-code geass : an exact replica of death note but the main lead was given the ability to control his anime and command them to do what ever he wants

-monster : a doctor trying to hunt a serial killer he once saved

Anime like Naruto :

-Hunter X Hunter

it is adventure based anime

heavily dependent on the friendship like one piece

and has an attractive very enjoyable story

a group of people gathering together to achieve common goals

it has many funny moments and tons of fights

they are doing remake of the show now (they still on episode 4

but i liked the original better because it covers much more details (each 2 episodes in the old show were replaced by 1 from the remake

-full metal alchemist:

is a good choice too bit it is bit darker that one piece and HxH although it has funny moments too

anime like Elfin Lied:(finding an exact match would be hard Romance + Gore)

-Basilisk

a romeo and juliet Story but in bloody ninja atmosphere

-Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal

it is about an assassin from the EDO period falling in love and marry the wife of a man he killed (without him knowing)

-Speed Grapher: in a corrupt society were the final word is for money it tells the story of a man with super powers and his struggle to save a child from being abused

vampire knight : the main lead is a girl who like to help people and she is studying in school that also teach vampires so there is romance / action

it is a story of a women who was raised to be a man because her father was this famous general in the french army during the time around the french revolution.

later she became the head of the royal army serving the Queen .

Torn between being a man or a women

And between being loyal to the queen or the revolution of France

And the love of two men .

this story provide a great twists with an ending that was tragic and epic .

i am rarely moved by an anime but this anime brought tear to my eyes at the end .

it was brilliant story , little slow at the beginning but after epiode 20 i couldn't even spending a second without thinking about it .

one last important note : this anime is a classic old anime made at 1979 so if you are looking for a superb graphics or fan service this anime is not for you , although in my eyes the main female lead oskar is one of the most beautiful anime character i have ever seen .

Angel Beats -action / comedy / school life

Confined to purgatory angels must fight for their future. Yuri the combative leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen a.k.a SSS an organization which fights against God for the cruel fate that has befallen its members is pitted against Tenshi a chairperson of the student council for the world after death. Armed weaponry and supernatural powers clash with high school as the chosen battlefield in the afterlife. This anime is about Daisuke Niwa, a 14 year old boy, and the family "curse". This boy has a special talent, and that is to transform into Dark Mousy, a thief who steals works of art made by the Hikari family. The Hikari artwork has magic embedded into it that make it have special abilities. This series centers around the conflict that Daisuke has with Satoshi, a classmate that can transform into Dark other half, Krad, and the budding relationship with Risa and Riku, two twins.

Trigun- adventure / comedy / sci-fi

Trigun is about a man named "Vash the Stampede" and the two Bernardelli Insurance Company employees who follow him to minimize the damage caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is caused by bounty hunters after the "60,000,000,000$$" (sixty billion "double dollars") bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July. However, he cannot remember the incident clearly due to amnesia. Throughout his travels, Vash tries to save lives using non-lethal force causing himself to get caught up in more trouble than necessary.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - magical girl / fantasy / horror

There exist "Messengers of Magic" who have the power to grant one wish to a chosen girl. However, that girl must then become a magical girl and fight against witches, evil creatures born from curses that are responsible for murders and suicides. A schoolgirl named Madoka Kaname and her friend Sayaka Miki are approached by a familiar named Kyubey and magical girl named Mami Tomoe with offers of becoming magical girls, while another magical girl, Homura Akemi, tries to prevent Madoka and friends from making such a deal...

[This one made me cry, it gives a darker side to the magical girl concept]

Inuyasha –action / fantasy / romance

Karin –vampire / romance / comedy

Karin Maka is a high school girl who seems to lead a relatively normal life in modern Japan. However she is really from a family of vampires who live discreetly, sucking the blood of humans. However, Karin has an embarrassing secret: even though she is a vampire she doesn't need to suck blood like the rest of her family, instead Karin is a "blood-maker", injecting her excess blood into her victims via her fangs, and having catastrophic nosebleeds if she fails to attack anyone. Karin's life gets turned upside when a new transfer student, Kenta Usui, transfers to her school and learns her secret shame. The manga chapters and anime episodes are structured around Karin's life being a succession of embarrassments, arising most notably out of her shame at being not only a vampire, but a failure of a vampire.

Fate/Stay Night. The female lead is Servant Saber and trust me she is a badass.
