Hmmm. So, you are going to get several answers around the 1911 platform as that is the classic .45 ACP platform. However, if what you are asking about is specific to recoil, I might say something like the CZ97. It has a lower barrel to grip height than a 1911. It has a full length dust cover (adding weight to the frame) and it is a large all steel gun giving it more weight than a typical 1911.
Now, there are also some specialty models of 1911's which reduce recoil - first would be the Les Baer Monolith which has an all steel frame, full length dust cover, and I think a bull barrel. All add weight to the gun which help to manage recoil.
Second would be one of the sight - tracker variants of the Infinity 1911 or 2011 along with their recoil tamer varying spring constant guide rod system. In that case as the spring in the guide rod compresses it increases in spring constant to "buffer" the recoil. The "sight tracker" model essentially cuts out a section of the slide, dramatically lightening it which decreases the recoil feel. Again, combine that with a full length dust cover for weight and that's about as good as you can get.
In a polymer gun, personally, I probably do best with either a Glock or the FNP - 45. I prefer the FNP .45, but the really low barrel to grip height on the Glock along with it's relatively soft frame that helps give some damping effect also allow it to tame hotter loads significantly.
However, as others have mentioned - I don't think the .45 ACP is a particularly hard recoiling round in a full size firearm, so recoil management probably isn't my first concern in choosing one.

I've shot 2 .45ACP in my life a Browning 1911 and the H&K Mark 23. I would have to side with the Mark 23. The weight of the gun plus a full magazine with 10+1 made the recoil very manageable. I don't see why people say the .45 is too much gun vs a 9mm. The recoil is not that bad and i rather use that for a CCW than a 9mil.

I've had a 1911 Colt Gold Cup for over a decade. I thought they couldn't make a better .45 acp. I now have and carry a Springfield XDm in .45 acp. It is the best. Still love my Gold Cup though.

Mostly gun control is hitting what you aim for. And that takes practice. A good shot can take almost any gun and do well with it and anybody, with a lot of practice, can usually do well with any modern pistol. Go to a good gun shop, one with a wide variety of models, and try different guns to see which feels best for you. The gun that shoots well for me may not do as well for you, and vice versa. So do some research and experimenting, talk with some shooters and then make your choice. And be sure to do a lot of practicing.

Any basic 1911 with a flat main spring housing and beaver tail grip safety.
I also shoot the Glock 21 fairly well, but that's because my hands are really big.

I got a mark IV Colt 1911 officers model with 3.5 '' barrel. I use as a ccw weapon some times when I want a thinner gun.it shoots great, and am looking for a new one if the price is right

The heaviest one I know of, the good ole M1911. Maybe the CZ-97 if I feel like going against the grain.

Generally speaking, the .45acp is a round that's not a hard kicker. It's not even moderate.
The 1911 soaks it up pretty well.

Hogue grips on a 1911 works pretty good for me.
Of course, it's not really a hard kicking round.
