After a troubled time with Yahoo! Staff, I have found that they are intelligent, reasonable computers/human beings, and that I (and everyone else subsequently) are wrong. I have taken up the flaming sword of justice, and the fuzzy pink slippers of truth. The digital zipties... I mean "handcuffs" serve as my retainment tools. Live on Yahoo! For the motherboard!!!

  • Danish Krag Jorgensen: Rebarrel?

Okay, so I just picked up a Dane Krag for a song...

But can I rebarrel it to .416 Rigby? How about .375H&H? .50BMG???

All sorts of options! And don't tell me these are stupid ideas, because if you do, I'll get angry, stomp off & cry for awhile.

    Noob here, plz halp!

  • Hunting with Martial Arts?

Well, that was misleading. Anyway, I'm a little tired of all the excuses presented against the ownership & use of a firearm for defensive purposes, and then the rather bold assertion that one should learn martial arts to defend their lives & home.

Who wins though? The guy that can do a triple-backflip-hatchet-kick, or the guy/gal holding a .357?

  • Is a .22LR powerful enough?

Is a .22LR powerful enough to cycle the massive slide on a Desert Beag... Eagle? Just curious, because I've heard about the incredible, and RARE conversions done. There's a small shop somewhere, where the magic happens (I have a feeling the shop is under wraps, due to high demand), with a legendary gunsmith to perform the conversion process.

Anyway, I've always wanted one, and I'd consider plunking the $50 down for one. So, is the .22LR powerful enough to really cycle the massive slide on a Deagle? How about one specifically built to cycle .22CB's?

  • Why do people air their dirty laundry over the internet?

I mean, for Christ's sake, it only allows people such as myself to verbally bludgeon them into submission. Realistically, what do these saps think is going to come of it? Putting all of these supposed "life problems" out on the internet only makes it worse (namely Singles & Dating).

Oh yeah, and what's your preference: Gay, or Communist? Both are bad, but if you had to pick one, what would it be?

  • Which pistol is better for CCW?

Which pistol is better for CCW?

A Beretta 1911, or a subcompact Glock .357? Likewise, there's a gang of Greek people (one of those gosh-darned Roman gangs) that virtually live outside of my house, but mommy won't let me buy a pistol because I'm 14 and when I was younger I lit the cat on fire (goddamn cat pissed all over my XBOX), but I learned my lesson and I'm a responsible young man. Everyone tells me that I'm really good at everything I do, so I obviously have to be. If I got an AK Draco pistol, could I put a scope on it with nothing more than epoxy and make a sniper out of it? I just don't like lugging a high powered rifle around all day (my .22 is heavy as f*ck, it's like a bajillion pounds). I'm also doing SEAL training, and I'm trained in using a sword. Uncle Bucky taught me in his basement. Should I carry a sword for self defense instead? That would be *totes* intense.

So. Tell me everything I want to know. I didn't really ask that much of a question, I probably demanded more of it than anything... but who cares, I'm a 14yr. old ingrate, and I personally don't consider the time some people put into answers. So... answer my super-awesome-gun-questions?

  • Federal Champion Warnings?

So, I've bought a couple boxes of the cheap red box Champion 9x19mm Federal, and now there's this new warning on the side of the box:

"Not for use in ported, or recoil compensated pistols".

It's non-P+, and as far as I'm concerned it's no different than any other 9mm ball. Does anyone here know why they've marked the boxes like that?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Any ideas of how to disrupt/annoy anti-hunters?

I am no protester. I am an Activist. I do what i do and I wont stop.

IF YOU ARE AN ANTI-HUNTER, LEAVE THIS QUESTION.

I'm planning this Fall, to get some flourescent clothes, getting a Madonna cassette, and well... stalk anti-hunters, and blare "Hung up" as they are about to kiss their boyfriends. Of course I need the bright clothing so I'll fit in. I believe it is wrong for anti-hunters to prevent me from harvesting game legally for sustenance. Its like me killing time just because I can (And it's not illegal)... Anyway, that is my idea, any other ideas on how to disrupt them? Any ideas on how to disrupt them/ annoy them so they cant get their rocks off on the deer or moose or whatever?

    Thanks.

  • Winchester Super-X value pack buckshot problems?

Does anyone know why I'm having problems with Winchester Super-X? I recently purchased a couple boxes of 2.75'' and 3'' 00 Buckshot (the 15rnd value packs from Wal-Mart), but for some reason these shells keep hanging up and failing to extract. I also noticed that it looks like the shot is pushing out on the hulls. I've heard that Winchester uses pretty soft hull material anyway, but I really don't think it would be causing these kind of hiccups.

Anyone else have problems with these shells?

NOTICE: I'm not big on reloading practices (or problems associated), but I had the primer back out on one of them. I didn't notice anything other than when it ejected (this one did), the primer was pushed out of the pocket a tiny bit. I don't know if they're not paying attention to QC as much as they should, but this happened in a healthy gun... NOT the gun's fault. *Just a heads up*
