child and Protective Service Question?

Our house is clean, but we do have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and accidents do happen, our house is smelly not gonna lie, But at my son's school the one teacher is complaining that my son smells like cat. I wash my sons uniform separate from everyone Else's, and his shoes go into a shoe box when he gets home. This one teacher brings him to the nurses office and complains day after day.

I even washed his uniform at the laundry mat just in case and his clothes are sealed up in a bag. Now on top of this my son has asthma, the cold weather in the morning triggers it, and he has been tested for being allergic to cats and dogs and found out that he isn't.

This teacher called Child and Protective Service on us for having a dirty home. Like i said our house is clean, but we do need new carpet and we do steam clean...

Can they take my kids away because of this? I couldn't let her in my house today because I had to go to work and I told her so. my son is 12 and my daughter is 15

any information would so helpful.

I don't have junk around my home like in horders,,it is very clean

if the house is clean and you are taking care of your children, it should not be a problem.

check him before he leaves and see if he does smell like cats. if not, the teacher is being stupid. i am fairly sure the nurse would notice if he stank.

see about getting him in another class. this teacher sounds like a busy body.

I don't believe so, if you're house is as clean as you say so then you shouldn't worry. CPS send some one out to check for abuse neglet and anything thing else that might be harmful to the child. I'd read up on your area CPS website for anything else you want to know

Excuse my language, but what a bi0ch that teacher is. People with pets are going to smell, especially children as they are more likely to cuddle with them and roll around with them.

    Well "crazycuddles", stop being lazy.

Train your 2 dogs and 2 cats to do their business properly.

Clean your house, get new carpet.

Tell your son to take a freaking bath, so he doesn't disgust the teacher anymore and she won't have to call CPS on you.

    Problem solved.

NO, IF YOU ARE TAKING CARE OF YOUR KIDS AND NOT NEGLECTFUL THEY CAN'T TAKE YOUR KIDS AWAY BECAUSE SOMEONE DOESN'T LIKE THE SMELL OF CATS. GOOD LUCK.
